Catherine Reusch Daley Thank you for stopping by. I am a Native New Englander, born and raised in Massachusetts. Thinking back, I remember my first experience in a darkroom when I was just 14 years old, right then and there my passion for photography was born. I was totally astonished how placing this sheet of photographic paper in a liquid developed into an image right before my eyes. I was just blown away by the whole process!

Along my life's journey I have always admired landscape photography and never let go of my dream to own a camera to capture what my eyes perceived. In 1997 while studying to be a Nurse I was given a gift, my first SLR camera. From that moment on I spent countless hours educating myself and added a darkroom to my family home where I taught myself darkroom techniques. Letting go of film and moving forward with my DSLR in 2008. Over the years I have accrued quite a collection from my travels throughout New England in pursuit of natural light. My camera bag travels with me everywhere I go, seeking out and capturing images that escape most of us, bringing the beauty of my little corner of this world back to you, forever frozen in time.


AMIDST THE MOUNTAINS:
I love New England but my favorite is 'New Hampshire,' My Heart and Soul live there. I been visiting this beautiful State year after year since I was a small child. A few years ago my husband and I purchased a second home in the White Mountains, not far away are picturesque Vermont and Maine giving me the opportunity to capture the beauty these three states are well known for. The scenery puts me in awe of how beautiful New England is on any given day. I am constantly pulling off the side of the road, so much so that my husband wants to put a bumper sticker on my jeep with the words: 'Frequent Stops ~ Photographer On Board' He's a funny guy. Take your time to look around and see what I have captured and please come back and visit, I am always adding new images.


BY WAY OF THE SEA
When I'm not in the mountains, I'm sure to be back in Massachusetts visiting family and finding the time to seek out and capture scenic beaches, boardwalks and sunsets down on the shores of Cape Cod. From the Berkshires to the coastline of Rhode Island to historic landmarks throughout Connecticut. New England is a place in this world so unique from any other. Her landscapes are forever changing, pure white in the winter, awaking colors of the rainbow in the spring, lush greens in the summer and vibrant reds yellows and orange in the fall. Enjoy what I have captured on my journey and please stop by often to see what Mother Nature is up to next, she is full of surprises.
